Alex Ferguson is raising money for The Ethan Maull 'Up Yours To Cancer' Foundation

Hi I'm Alex Ferguson and I am proud to be swimming in the 24 hour swim at Activities Away with other members of 100% Swimming on behalf of the Ethan Maull "Up yours to cancer" Foundation. The event as a whole will see 6 individuals, (Myself, Paul Fowler, Caroline Sims, Martin Ball, Mike Russell and Debs Hazeltine) swimming the whole event as solo swimmers - 24 miles each. Plus there will be 4 teams headed up by Suzy Hegg, Iain Hamilton, Steve Paley and Claire Wookey. Whether swimming as a solo or in a team everyone will be aiming to swim 1 mile per hour, every hour, for 24 hours. This means that will be over 250 miles swum inside of 24 hours. PLUS we are welcoming everyone to join us for the last hour - so we will be over 300 miles inside of 24 hours in total!
It would be great if you could help us to reach our target of £3000 and of course you can come and support us on the day in person too. Thank you for listening and supporting us and most importantly supporting the Ethan Maull "Up yours to cancer" Foundation.
The 24 hour swim will take place at Activities Away, Thorpe Lane, North Hykeham, Lincoln. The first mile will be swum at 19:00 on Tuesday 24 June and the last mile at 18:00 on Wednesday 25 June 2014.
