Story
Running has never been my thing.. My Strava stats last year say it all, I ran 4.25 miles!
This year I'm hoping to better my fitness and get into running. I have set myself the goal of running a total of 31 miles in March, 1 mile a day and have decided to raise money for a charity I'm heavily involved in to motivate me to follow it through.
This charity is very close to my heart for personal reasons and also the difference it makes to children during an incredibly difficult time in their life.
I'm a Trustee for Made a Mark Charity a small child bereavement charity run entirely by volunteers, we supply professionals around England with memory boxes & resources to improve the support available for children experiencing the bereavement of a parent/sibling.
Last year we supplied 681 memory boxes to bereaved children.
The average cost of a memory box to the charity is £40, that's a filled memory box including postage.
I have set a goal of £400 to fund 10 memory boxes.
The Covid-19 pandemic has heavily impacted our fundraising and we are in need of funds now more than ever.
Please take your time to sponsor me if you can and share my fundraising campaign.
Thank you for your support.
