Story

Completed!

The three Peaks of England, Scotland and Wales have been vanquished, trodden underfoot by my almighty boot.

Everyone who took part in my group from work completed the challenge within the 24 hours. My personal round-trip times were:

Snowdon: 2 hours 50 minutes
Scafell Pike: 2 hours 38 minutes
Ben Nevis: 4 hours 45 minutes

The organisers factor in a nominal 10 hours driving time these days, as increased traffic due to the popularity of the event has meant that teams sometimes don't make the 24 hour time limit due to factors outside of their control. This gives me a total completion time of 20 hours and 13 minutes. In reality, my actual completion time (based on our real driving time) was just over 23 hours, so still a success under the old rules.

Thank you very much again to everyone who sponsored us. I'll leave this Justgiving page open for a month or so to upload pictures from the event and see if I can edge the funds raised a little closer to my target level.

Cheers

Dave
