Three Peaks Challenge · 3 September 2010

We enhance the care at Lister, New QEII, Hertford County and MVCC by funding projects above the remit of the NHS. Projects include providing the latest equipment, making improvements to the inside and outside spaces, funding support services and items to make being in hospital that much easier.

Story

The 3 peaks challenge is to climb the 3 highest peaks in the U.K. in under 24 hours, they are Ben Nevis (Scotland) Scafell Pike (England) and Snowdon (Wales), We are doing this for the Anthony Jonthan Gray Nightingale Fund which raises money for new equipment and improvements to the special care baby unit at Lister hospital.

So Please Dig deep and help us to raise as much money as we can for such a good cause.

update - Thank you for all those who supported us at both Stevenage Day and St. Nicolas school fete, we raised £260 over both days and had great fun.

Update - we did it!  Thank you so much for your support.  we didn't manage to complete in 24 hours due to the traffic in North Wales on the way to Snowdon, but our total climbing time was 12 hours 10 minutes (and the challenge allows 14).
