48 Hour Hockey Marathon · 9 November 2014

Access Sport is a registered charity. We make inclusion the norm by tackling the access barriers faced by disadvantaged and disabled young people, focussing on the causes of exclusion—not just the symptoms.

Story

TEESSIDE UNIVERSITY HOCKEY CLUB
are taking part in two 12-hour hockey marathons
in aid of Access Sport
9th - 11th November 2014

Two mixed teams of 16 players will take part in two 12 hour continuous hockey games at the University astro turf pitch. This will be played like any normal game of hockey, each side will play 11 players and 5 substitutes, there will be umpires regulating the game and the game will be played following normal hockey rules.

We will have lots of supporters down throughout the two days and hopefully raise a lot of money for our charity.

Access Sport help to allow disadvantaged and disabled children to have access to sport around the UK. This is a brilliant charity to be supporting and we hope you will donate something, however small, to help us out.

If you have any questions or would like to either attend the event or help us out in any other way, please email:
