On 21st August 2015, our beautiful Bryony was killed, aged 19, by a drink driver who mounted the pavement killing her and injuring her boyfriend Ben. A talented musician, Bryony had plans to be a music therapist, using her talents to brighten the lives of others as she had done throughout her short life.

Physically this may not be the biggest running challenge I've taken on, but aged 50 and weighing 30 pounds more than my racing weight of 10 years ago, it will require a number of months of committed training. For the record, I restarted running in January after few runs over the last 7 years and completed the Maidenhead Parkrun on 27/02/16 in 23:51 - so I need to cut my time by over 16%.
