Some of my very good friends have children with significant additional needs, and CHIPS provide them with amazing support. For their children--siblings included--there are wonderful play and social opportunities. As well, and just as important for my friends and all the other parents who access the charity, there is the invaluable opportunity for a little bit of respite to recharge their batteries.
