Royal Parks Half Marathon · 11 October 2009

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thanks for visiting our JustGiving page!

On the 11th October Sally, Rachel, Kirsty and Josie will be attempting to run our first ever half marathon in aid of The Prince's Trust!

Training is underway but lots of encouragement needed!

The Prince's Trust has one sole aim: to help change young lives. This is an ambitious goal. Too many young people in the UK have fallen through the net, through underachievement at school, or through experience of the criminal justice system, an unstable home life, or long-term unemployment. These are the young people who feel they have no future. In 2008 The Prince's Trust helped more young people than ever before: over 44,000.

The current economic climate has seen demand for our services surge. For this reason that it is more impotant than ever that we support those with fewest qualifications before they become a lost generation. Together we can help young people to turn their aspirations in to achievment.

Thank you for your support,

Rachel, Sally, Kirsty and Josie x x x x
