We would like to introduce our challenge to you! In previous years we have always hosted team challenges but due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, this is a personal challenge.
Are you up for it? Yes? What does it involve?
• Weekend of Friday April 30th- Sunday May 02nd
• Walk or Run 4miles every 4 hours in 24 hours (total 24 miles completed)
• 12 hour option is 4 miles every 4 hours for 12 hours (total 12 miles completed)
• Cycle option 100k (60 miles in 24 hours)
• Although this challenge is to be completed in 24 hours we have decided on a 48hr window to accommodate people with work commitments.
• Challenge starts 8pm on Friday 30th April and ends 8pm Sunday 02nd May
• Entry fee €20.00 (includes tee shirt)

Example of challenge
Start Saturday 01st May
1st 4 miles 8am
2nd 4 miles 12noon
3rd 4 miles 4pm
4th 4 miles 8pm
5th 4 mile 12 midnight
6th 4 miles 7am
Challenge completed in the 24 hours from Sat 8am to Sunday 8am.
Participants can choose any 24 hours from
Friday 8pm till Sunday 8pm. The challenge is the 6 by 4 miles every 4 hours as
in not doing 2x12miles or 3 x8 mile runs etc.
Please note this is a Personal Challenge.
Please adhere to the Covid-19 restrictions on travel & social distancing. We are hoping that by May the restrictions will have eased but at all times please be mindful of the most current guidelines. Any queries please contact any committee member.
