Southmead Hospital Charity is the official charity of North Bristol NHS Trust. Together with our donors and fundraisers we deliver world-class projects and comforting items over and above what the NHS funds, to make the biggest difference to patients and their families.

Story

Hey peeps, a massive thank you for taking time out to have and look and a bigger thank you to those that have or are going to donate.

Its the 10/7/09 as i write this and only two out of the famous 5 have done any training, we start this week, none of us own a road bike and to be honest id be proud if we made it to the shop let alone Newquay!!! We are riding from the Scottish Boarders to Newquay, we were going to ride from Lands end to John O'groates but that takes 10 days and we only have 7 and none of us could make it that far!!

Each of us taking part has lost someone close to either M.S or cancer so we have picked a charity that will split the money, please give in the bucket loads because everyone knows someone who has been affected by these tragic illnesses.

Anyway in 12 weeks time the 5 of us novice bike riders will wave you you off with our newly  sculpted 6 packs and chiselled good looks.

Thanks again please give what you can because it will be your kindness and support that gets us through not our fitness!!

Andy

P.S If you are one of our employers thanks for giving us the time off but please bare with us if me aren't back when we said we would be I have planned the route myself!!
