500 miles for the RDA · 7 November 2022

Cotswold Riding for the Disabled Association (Cotswold RDA) is so much more than a riding school! It’s a supportive community of riders, families, carers, schools, colleges, trustees, staff, and volunteers and of course, our ponies, all working together. Cotswold RDA delivered 7000 sessions last year, including group and 1:1 riding sessions, stable management and horse care, and welcomed 200 new participants to our innovative “Tea with a Pony” sessions for people living with dementia. 225 riders living with physical disabilities and learning difficulties rode with us over 6 days a week, enjoying the positive impact on their health and wellbeing. 200 volunteers supported our riders, gaining new skills and confidence as well as sense of fulfilment and new friendships.

Story

The University of Gloucestershire Equestrian Team are raising money for the Cotswolds RDA! We are thrilled to be able to support the Cotswold RDA as it is an amazing charity very close to our hearts at UOG Equestrian. 

As a club, we will walk, run and ride 500 miles across the 7th of November to the 14th of November.

We would be extremely grateful for any donations to help us reach our target of £500 for the Cotswold RDA.
