Early this year we decided that it would be a really good idea to drive 10,000 in a small 1.2 litre car from London to Mongolia. We have chosen to do the Southern Route via Iran and Central Asia (the full route can be seen here http://5camels1chameleon.wordpress.com/where/) and to make it a proper challenge we have allowed ourselves 5 weeks to complete it whereas it normally takes 6 weeks! This is going to be an adventure of a lifetime and to make it even more special we are raising money for a really important charity, Chance UK.

Chance UK’s mission it to improve the lives of primary school children with behavioural difficulties who are at risk of developing anti-social or criminal behaviour in the future. They do this by providing tailored one-to-one mentoring with a carefully  screened, trained and supervised volunteer mentor. Their mentors raise children's self-esteem via activities such as sports, visiting museums, making scrapbooks...anything the child may be interested in.
