Story

Dear Friends, Family and All,

In 6 DAYS time (!!), a team of 3 Men- Sam Davies, Geordie Hilleary and Jamie Drummond Moray- will be tested to their absolute limits when they attempt to complete a gruelling 3 day challenge set in the Highlands of Scotland. It will be a test of both physical and mental endurance, determination and courage. It comprises of 3 different disciplines over the course of 3 days.

Day 1: a marathon that ascends more that 1600 metres through  the heart of Glencoe and into foothills of Ben Nevis.

Day 2:a 10 Munro expedition of Ben Nevis and The Lochaber Traverse.

Day 3: a 100 mile cycle from Glencoe (Highlands) to Auchterarder (Perthshire) via Loch Tay.

We want to raise awareness of the psychological wounds and scars that military personnel experience post warfare. Not only does war leave physical scars, but it equally leaves an intangible stress that one cannot begin to describe. At Combat Stress, they provide caring support and rehabilitation to those who experience this mental burden. (Please see website for more information on Combat Stress http://www.combatstress.org.uk).

To that end, please donate as generously as possible to a cause that is very worthy and important; every little helps. Please DIG DEEP for the remaining 6 DAYS so that we manage to raise our target of £10000- our pain will be worth EVERY penny. We will keep you updated on our progress and of course, the challenge itself!

To all those that have donated so far, we can't thank you enough for your extremely generous support. It will make a difference.

Love from,

The Men.
