Story

All year we have been studying about cultural innovation, beauty and diversity in Spanish-speaking countries.

A donation of $10 helps a child plant 1 tree!

Please join us, 600 Árboles (600 Trees), as we work to support Third Millennium Alliance (www.tma.earth) in their campaign to protect the Ecuadorian rainforest:

TMA is committed to saving one of the most biodiverse and threatened ecosystems on the planet - the Pacific Equatorial Forest of Ecuador. With only 2% of native forest remaining due to unsustainable human activities, the Pacific Equatorial Forest represents the frontlines of the conservation movement and the fight against global climate change. TMA and its supporters are addressing this existential crisis through the creation & connection of protected areas, combined with programs that address the underlying social drivers of deforestation.

TMA is a registered nonprofit organization in both the United States and Ecuador. All donations made to TMA are tax-deductible in the United States. TMA’s U.S. federal tax identification number is 26-3982965.

About the charity

Working in one of the most biodiverse yet threatened ecosystems on the planet, Third Millennium Alliance (TMA) works with local communities to protect and restore the last remnants of rainforest in coastal Ecuador for the health and well-being of human and wildlife communities.
