Tough Mudder Yorkshire 2015 · 1 August 2015 to 2 August 2015 ·

Yorkshire is one of the regions hardest hit by cancer. Together, we can change this. Yorkshire Cancer Research is a charity dedicated to finding new cancer cures and treatments and bringing them to people in Yorkshire. Our aim is for more people to survive cancer, in Yorkshire and beyond.

Story

On August 1st 2015, 34 (fool)hardy A-SAFE employees will attempt one of the most grueling and challenging long-distance assault courses in the world - and all in the name of charity.

The Tough Mudder is a hardcore mud run and obstacle event designed by British Special Forces. The course extends over 12 miles across rough terrain and woodland and includes various terrifying obstacles, including the Ring of Fire, Skidmarked, Electroshock Therapy and the enticingly-named Arctic Enema.

A-SAFE staff of all shapes, ages and abilities are involved, with some preparing for the event by following an intensive training regime. Some other employees have, however, chosen to adopt the unconventional 'wing and a prayer' training method.

Whatever level of athletic ability, all staff will have the same determination to raise funds for Yorkshire Cancer Research, a fantastic charity which supports vital cancer projects and research in the Yorkshire region.

A-SAFE would like to thank everybody who takes the time and effort to kindly donate towards our £3500 fundraising goal - and please don't forget to Gift Aid your donation where possible.
