Coast & Castle · 28 May 2015

The Sick Children’s Trust is the charity that gives families with a seriously ill child in hospital a comfortable place to stay and a friendly ear to listen in one of our ten ‘Homes from Home’. By providing families with somewhere to stay near their child they have one less thing to worry about.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

It’s that time of year again where a group of us get together and tackle one of the Countries most popular cycle routes.  Previously we’ve completed the Coast to Coast (twice) and the Walney to Wear (twice) all in aid of good causes.

This year 27 of us (plus 3 support drivers) are returning to attempt the Coast and Castles south route which will take us from Gateshead to Edinburgh covering over 170 miles.

The riders are; Martin Blyth, Paul Blyth, Pete Davies, Dylan Mitchell, Kevin Shepherd, Ian Bassett, Scott Gordon, Marceau Caby, Dave Errington, Derek Ellison, David Ellison , Rob Peachey, Jeffrey Watson, Ray Pout, Colin Stephenson, Mark Cavanagh, Michael Johnston, Andrew Auton, Charlie Penente, Andrew Leadbitter, Sam Charlton, Peter Mathewson Lee Mathewson, Connor Mathewson, Kevin Mathewson, Mark Hurst and Martin Shaw.

And the support drivers are Teresa Blyth, John Blyth and Roz Pout.

This year’s chosen charity is The Sick Children’s Trust. Thanks to everyone who is taking part and to those willing to make a donation to this great cause.
