It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of Steve one of our much loved volunteers here at ACE.

Steve passed away on Friday 14th December at his home in Luxor and will be greatly missed by all of us.

We considered Steve a member of our family and he touched the lives of hundreds of animals here as well as his own dogs.

Many of our supporters, other volunteers and visitors will be sad to hear this news and our thoughts go out to Steve's family and everyone who loved him.

For those of you that never met Steve, he was a lovely kind man who liked a joke and was passionate about animal welfare. He volunteered at ACE most afternoons and evenings and he looked after our resident and boarding dogs as well as assisting our team of vets. Steve loved to take our visiting volunteers out to explore Luxor with him in the evenings and relax over a pint.
