The Arsenal Foundation is a grant-making charity of the Arsenal Football Club, which focuses on work to motivate and inspire young people - often through education and sport - to help them reach their potential and be the best they can.

Story

The Arsenal Foundation

The club’s charitable arm supports projects that use the
Arsenal name to inspire young people at home and abroad.

In north London, the Foundation has helped to refurbish
football pitches in schools and estates in Islington, Hackney and Camden.

We work with the London branch of human rights charity
Freedom from Torture to deliver football and therapy sessions to refugees who
have been victims of torture. And we help a wide range of local community
programmes with small grants.

The Foundation also supports the work of our partners Willow
Foundation and Save the Children.

With Bob Wilson’s Willow, we help to fund special days for
seriously ill young adults.

With Save the Children, we are currently helping to build
football pitches in refugee camps in Iraq, to provide a safe place for children
to come and play. We have also contributed to Save the Children’s relief work
in Japan, East Africa, Syria, the Philippines and Nepal.
