Story
Katy was born on the 5th of April 1971 in Tehran. She lived the first twenty years of her life in Iran, before moving to London to start a new life with me. She attended City University and obtained a degree in computer Science before starting her career with BT.
Katy was one of the happiest people I have ever known. Her infectious smile and continues laughter have been the subject of every conversation we have had since her sad passing on Friday. Every phone call, every message every conversation has about her incredible zest for life and her ability to live life to the fullest. Every where we look, we see a happy smiling Katy and we will never forget this.
The difficult journey of dealing with the illness begun in July 2008. It was a journey which took 19 months with lots of twists and turns. Every test or scan would bring more bad news but to my utter amazement Katy remained positive. She was determined to fight and to win. At the end Katy decided how the journey would end, under her terms, and in my view she won.
I cherish the last 20 years that brought me happiness, laughter, companionship and love. I recieved a lifetime of joy through these years and I continue seeing Katy with me every day through our wonderful daughter Tara. We have to be strong .We will get through this utter sense of pain and we will have Katy in our hearts forever. God bless you Katy my love and my sole mate. We remember, we celebrate and we smile.
Thank you
.Afshin
