Crafty Cooks would love to invite you to join them in creating the first ever Grand Baking Day; a generational baking day, raising much needed funds to help prevent loneliness amongst the older generation. Crafty Cooks is a national franchise running preschool cookery classes,
where children as young as two years of age come along and make delicious things to eat. In the classes we often see grandparents bringing along their grandchildren and having the best time together. Even those less able can be a big part of the experience and share their knowledge with the younger generation. It's a great bonding activity- enriching, educational and a wonderful way to pass the time together.

Our vision is to see care homes, child based establishments, and Mums and Dads opening their doors and welcoming in the older and younger generations to share a Grand Baking Day, whilst making money for a very worthy cause. The premise of the day, held at any time during the week commencing 13th June, is a national multi-generational bake off , spending some time being involved in each other’s lives. To have fun, to bond, to create memories. We provide the invitations, the posters, the bunting and the recipe cards; you provide the facilities and the experience!

We have chosen Age NI  as our receiving charity, the largest charity helping the elderly in Northern Ireland We suggest a donation per family of £5.
