Story
Swimming makes me feel better...........but for at least the last year life has been too busy to fit in 'exercise'- and this needs to change!! So I have set myself a goal of swimming the distance of the English Channel (in the comfort of a local swimming pool or Budleigh beach) between World Mental Health Day (10th October) and Christmas 2014.
In addition to improving my own mental health- I wanted to use this as an opportunity to raise funds for the Devon Partnership Trust so that this will also help others, living with a mental illness or learning disability, get the support they need to pursue their own personal goals and ambitions- just like me!
