We raise money to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

Story

This year I am running the Brighton Half Marathon on 19 February, the Brighton Marathon on 15 April and the Nike Women’s Marathon in San Francisco on 14 October.

I appreciate that at certain times of year the internet can seem like a giant begging bowl set up to fund people’s hobbies, so this year I got all of my places for these races independently. I am running because I can: I am running for the people who can't.

People (LOVELY people) still ask how they can sponsor me though. So I have set up this page for the Royal Marsden, which is the most amazing hospital filled with awe-inspiring people. What both patients and staff get up to there on a daily basis makes a running two marathons seem like a walk along the seafront.

I would love it if you could give them some money, as having done something good always helps with the bit of the race when I am filled with convinction that it will never, ever end, or at best my legs will drop off.
