Campaign by Bright Ideas for Tennis (RCN 1172899)
Throughout June 2019, Robyn Moore will be raising awareness of mental health by hitting a tennis ball 200,000 times. A total of 30 days, 240 hours, 46 venues, 1 shot every 4 seconds. A huge challenge, all in association with Bright Ideas for Tennis

Story

In June, I will be traveling the UK with Bright Ideas for Tennis charity to raise awareness of mental health, the benefits tennis has on one's mental health and to raise funds to provide tennis activity sessions across the UK to disability groups, with an ongoing focus on mental well-being.

Robyn Moore , who suffers with PTSD, will be taking on a monumental challenge to hit 200,000 tennis shots in 30 days. That equates to 5 million metres, 1 metre for every person in the UK of working ages living with a mental health problem. We will visit 46 venues and host a festival of tennis at each site, we invite you to join us and mental health charities will be available for advice and resources.

Throughout the UK we want everyone to get involved and do what they can to help raise funds and donate towards this important cause. Tennis has been a huge part of my life and I really believe that others can truly benefits from playing the great game.

About the charity

Our primary goal is to support tennis clubs in the UK by increasing membership numbers, raising participation levels and improving playing facilities. We encourage venues to expand their existing coaching sessions, creating an all-inclusive programme for their community.
