Story

I'm taking part in HD Moves this year by doing an awesome 12 hour  physical fitness challenge on Tuesday 8th November 2022. This challenge will start at 7.30am and will see me carry out various physical fitness activities over a 12 hour period. It will take part in and around the Energize gym in Edinburgh Park.

The challenge will involve doing one of hour of each fitness activity in the following order:-

1. Swimming 2. Cycling 3. Running 4. Weight resistance training 5. Rowing 6. Hula Hooping 7. Cross-fit Murphy challenge ( 1 mile run/100 Pull-ups/200 Push-ups/300 Squats/1  mile run) 8. Cycle 9. Walking 10. Calisthenics 11. Running 12. Outdoor Fitness Class.

The  reason for doing this grueling physical challenge is to raise awareness of Huntington's Disease and to raise money to support individuals and their families affected by this cruel hereditary disease. This devastating disease has also been a huge part of my life for over 45 years now and therefore is very close to my heart.

In helping me to raise awareness and funds for HD, I would be grateful if all my family and friends could donate by using the 'Give now' button. Please also share my page with your friends and family so that more people get to know about HD.

Many thanks in advance for your generosity, it means a great deal to me.

Keep smiling folks

Scottish Huntington's Association is the only charity in Scotland dedicated exclusively to the care and support of families impacted by Huntington's disease, a devastating hereditary disease that damages the brain and causes severe physical and mental health issues.
