Story

In December 2012 Dad was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour and sadly we lost him in January 2013. We started our sponsored walk 3years ago around dad's birthday (26th March, he'd be 76 this year) to raise funds for brain tumour research in Queens University Belfast.
Due to covid last year we didn't manage to fulfil our walk, we don't want to miss another year so plan to walk in our "bubbles" to keep safe but also in the hope that it can help future families who may be faced with this type of cancer.

If you're free this weekend please have a walk and give what you can!

Queen’s research centres are finding new ways to tackle global health challenges. No matter what area of medicine is close to your heart, 100% of your gift will go directly to research here in Northern Ireland. You may choose to help us advance cancer care, where Queen’s is taking the lead in personalising treatment. Your support will help transform so many lives, now and in the future.
