Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page which this year is in Support of Breathe Easy.
As mentioned we are participating as a team in the gruelling 110KM Cape Argus race in Cape Town on the 10th of March, I say team but to be honest the only people that seem to be preparing is myself Anthony and Lance, we are getting up early and riding till our butts won't allow us to ride anymore !!! To say it's painful is an understatement but thankfully we can now take the time to heal before the Race.
As for Morgan well let's just say he knows which Month the race is happening in and which general direction the starting line is in, does he even have a bike yet ? Who know's ? and Bjorn well he showed up for a practice run one evening asking how to change gears with flat tyres a vest and trainers and after taking 25 minutes riding up to Suikerbossie from Camps Bay, asked in a breathless fashion " is this the biggest climb of the Argus ? " So i leave it to your imagination as to how this race will go.......
Anyway your donations will be well recieved and will make going through "the wall" three or four times extremely worthwhile....( Remember you can keep donating for 8 weeks after the event)
In one of the pictures is Rick who will be riding the Argus pulling Luke in his trailer! He is a child who is now at home thanks to Sister Booth and Breatheasy programme!
