My mate the legendery Pat Dwan and a band of  equally legendery merry men ie Jason Wills, Gareth Heaven, Dave Ilsley and Gurkan Bulbul will be kayaking across Swansea bay on Saturday 27th June to raise awareness about secondary breast cancer and to raise funds for Maggie's centre in Swansea. 

Maggie's has become a safe haven for me since my cancer diagnosis. There are lots of activities and classes available but just as important is the cup of tea and chat with the other cancer patients. Each with their incredible, individual story. The staff are amazing and visiting Maggie's is always an uplifting and a positive experience for me. 

A big thank you to Pat, Jason, Gareth, Gurkan and Dave for undertaking this fundraising event. Me? - oh I'll be cheering them on from the support boat ☺
