Story

Thanks for visiting our just giving page.

A team of 10 of us are completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on 20 July for the British Red Cross.

The Y3P consists of a fantastic and challenging 24-mile trek in the beautiful surroundings of the Yorkshire Dales. The 3 peaks being Pen-y-ghent (691m), Whernside (728m) and Ingleborough (723m), As well as the route's infamous bogs!!

Our team, it is fair to say, consists of mixed abilities. Some of us are more used to walking in 5 inch heels* than walking boots, others are avid walking enthusiasts! Some of us will have trained, most of us will have not!! Hopefully we can motivate one another through the personal challenges that we will all face on the day and hopefully we will all come back in one piece having had a good time!

We would love for you to help motivate us to complete our challenge and support this worthwhile charity by sponsoring us, we have a target of £1200 so please dig deep!

Thank you again!

(Team Members: Tracey Oakland*, Liz Westwood, Helen Flood, Jonathan Jessiman, Luke Armitage, Danielle Shelbourne, Graham Hudson, Rebecca Dunnington, Dave Fisher and Katie Biscomb.)
