Yeovil Half Marathon · 29 March 2015

We believe every blind veteran should be able to lead the life they choose. At Blind Veterans UK we’re one, transformational team. We provide rehabilitation, training, practical advice and emotional support. Together we can help rebuild lives.

Story

On Sunday 29th March 2015 a team of six Apprentices and Graduates from AgustaWestland in Yeovil will be running the Yeovil Half Marathon.

Simon Clark, Shuaib Blake, Samuel Healy, Henry Holland, Charlie Muir and Jamie Rubie are running the 13 miles to raise as much money as possible for Blind Veterans.

Every year, AWASA (the AgustaWestland Apprentice and Student Association) attempts to raise money for selected charities through various endevours; this year we decided Blind Veterans was an extremely worthwhile and deserving charity.

We need as many donations as possible to raise our target of £1,500; anything you can give would be hugely appreciated by our team.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
