Story

The Jamatia Islamic Centre (JIC) is situated at the heart of the Muslim community in Birmingham, and attracts many worshippers from across the West Midlands region. Our aim is to create an environment of unity by providing all people with vital services and assistance, and in particular cater to the religious, social and spiritual needs of Muslims living in the west. In recent years the number of services being offered by the Masjid has increased, and following our last major renovation we now accommodate more worshippers than ever. We are know aiming to offer a larger number of services to the local growing community. We have completed Phase 1 Demolition of 183 Woodlands Road and have begun Phase 2 Foundation and Ground works. Once all the work has been completed we hope to be able to offer the following services Extend The main Masjid hall to accommodate for funeral services Create a new day centre for the elderly Add extra space for the sisters prayer area with improved Wudu Faci
