22 Abayam supporters (including 6 key workers) will be taking part in a run/walk/cycle challenge from Monday 20th - Sunday 26th July.

We will cover 435km in total; the distance between Point Pedro and Thirukkovil, the most Northern and Eastern points of Abayam's projects in Sri Lanka. 

We are raising funds to support 800 underprivileged A- Level students in Alyadivembu Division’s School, Thirukkovil Division’s School and Pottuvil Division’s School. These students have been resilient and are working hard in the face of the pandemic. Despite their perseverance, a lack of access to technology has caused a major setback to their education.
We are therefore providing them with hard copies of exam practice papers to complete at home. This will allow students to better prepare to succeed in their upcoming exams by providing them with equal opportunity for higher education and to build a better life for themselves and their families.
