Around 2.5 million people in the UK are living with a cancer diagnosis right now and in the past five years, this has increased by half a million. Furthermore, it is estimated that by 2016 over a thousand people will be diagnosed with cancer each day in the UK alone. 

To raise money for Cancer Research UK and to help fight back against such an awful disease, myself and three friends from University will be taking part as The Pink Mudskateers in the 5K Pretty Muddy Race for Life at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow on the 20th June. Cancer Research UK is an amazing charity and with your help, we can help to beat cancer sooner.

Cancer Research UK is a charity that myself and my teammates hold close to our hearts and we can't wait to be part of an event that raises awareness and money for cancer.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated - however much you feel you would like to donate! My individual goal is to raise £150 and every penny that you can donate will help to make a massive difference! :) The money that we raise also adds to our motivation to smash the course on the day!
