Oceana is the largest international advocacy organization dedicated solely to ocean conservation. Oceana is rebuilding abundant and biodiverse oceans by winning science-based policies in countries that control one-third of the world’s wild fish catch.

Story

I'm offering high-quality application sessions for donations to Oceana, a non-profit focused on national policy decisions to preserve and restore the world's oceans

A few experience highlights: 2021 Investment Banking summer internship at JP Morgan; spring weeks at BCG, BlackRock, HSBC, McKinsey, Morgan Stanley. A lot of application advice out there is generic and won't really help you stand out, so in these sessions I'll share insights to refine and enhance your applications. I thought this would be a good idea as it's a double win: people get good application help + support charity.

Donation minimums (in GBP), more is of course ideal, and if you like the sessions, do consider topping up donations:

  • 30 minute general application chat: 8
  • 30-45 minute CV session: 10
  • 30-45 minute cover letter session: 10
  • 1 hour interview prep (video, behavioural, competency): 16
  • 1 hour interview prep (technical, case study, AC): 20
  • Any other ideas or packages, just message me on LinkedIn and we'll sort it out

The charity itself - Most of the world's oceans are ungoverned and exploited at an unimaginable scale, threatening marine ecosystems and their dependent communities. For the charity, I researched different organisations to identify one that is effective and transparent. Oceana works internationally and uses its funds in a strategic, direct way to achieve measurable outcomes. They use science to identify problems and solutions, with their team focusing on strategic, direct campaigns on the policy level to achieve greater impact with measurable outcomes. With plenty of reports backing them, you can be assured your donations will go to good use.
