Hi I’m Abdul-Wahid I turned 17 this year. I’m in my final year at Kaimes High School for young people with Autism.

 

 Make Bread Not War with Me………………….

My family and I went to the SOUNDS OF LIGHT GLASGOW 2013 where many were there to see Maher Zain, Raef (USA) and Harris J comedian Omar Regan who made me laugh soo much, they were all great!!

But me I was there to meet my Role models who I have been watching from the comfort of my home for many years!! Islam channels NA'EEM RAZA and RAHIM JUNG I was a bit start struck as I didn’t know Brother Rahim was going to be there. My sister had to help me find the right words!! Watching them always make me want to give to those who have nothing. They always make me stop and reflect and be thankful for what I have. And through Human Appeal's vision of a "world without poverty, a world where every human being has the right to a full stomach and a nourished minds." I want to work towards my pledge of raising £10,000 over 3 months to gift a truck of flour to the people of Syria " 

•£25 provides flour for a family for a month

•£95 can buy a family survival pack

•£500 provides flour for a whole village

•£1600 could provide a family of 8-10 people with shelter

So over the next 3 months I'm going to do different things to try and raise as much as I can. Starting with Fasting in November where I will spend 3 days every week where I will not eat or drink water or food from sunrise to sunset!

So now it's my Secound Month of Fundraisng I have decide to have bake sales at my school and my local mosque?? So this DECEMBER watch out for a bake sale near you In Aid of syria watch my updates.
