Hi my name is Abigail and I am a cadet with St John Cymru Wales. I have been a member of SJCW since I was 5 and now, at the age of 16, I have been given the amazing opportunity to represent Wales as part of a contingent at the 2020 International Cadet Championships in South Africa.

I am so thankful to have been selected to represent Wales at this competition, where we will demonstrate the skills we have learned with St John and compete to be the best at what we do.

I am so excited to meet other cadets from across the globe and see the impact St John has in different countries. There's no doubt that we will form new friendships and make unforgettable memories.

In order to attend this competition, I need to raise a minimum of £1,000 so that the trip can be organised safely and effectively. All money donated will go towards the work St John does, such as creating more opportunities like this for other young people.
