I decided to slim for charity to give myself the motivation to stick with it, and to raise a little cash for a worthy cause.  The ironically named (in my case!) Fat Boy's Cancer Charity is a local charity that does good work supporting sick children and donating funds to other relevant charities.  My brother was a great supporter and friend to the founders of the Fat Boy's Charity and I think he would be pleased I'm doing this, not just for myself but for his friends, and their continued efforts to help others.

My goal is to lose 3 stone (42 lbs) and to achieve this by March/April.  Its a dramatic challenge in the time, but I have done it before, I know I can do it again!  Any donation, no matter how small would be gratefully received and I am sure will be spent wisely by the charity.
