Story

Hey Everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

So, here is my story....

At the age of 23 I was diagnosed with a Bone Tumor which completely and utterly turned my life and my families lives upside down.

In short: I was walking in October and by December I was told I may never walk again.

After a huge amount of time in Hospital, Extensive reconstruction of my Femur / Hip joint, Constant hospital visits and learning to walk again I can safely say i'm out of the woods 4 years later.

The RNOH Hospital care had no limits: They let me moan and be pathetic (which deserves a medal) and made me laugh, they were there for my parents who never said but I knew how much it had effected them, they sat up with me when I couldn't sleep and they stayed patient with me when I learned to walk again.

I never wanted to be the kind of person to say "Its made me who I am" .....lame....but I guess it has. My whole outlook on life has changed and the RNOH has become an ever permanent fixture of my life. There is no amount of thank you's or money I could say or give to let them know how thankful I am.

They gave me back a normal life so I am going to climb Kilimanjaro in September to say thank you for putting up with me and to help build their new Hospital.

So please help me raise as much as possible for The RNOH Hospital :)
