Not having clean, safe water is a shocking, yet daily, reality for 1 in 8 people in the world today. The result of this keeps people living in poverty and suffering from disease.

WaterAid is GeneroCITY's chosen charity partner in 2011 and all proceeds from this year's campaign will go to WaterAid's vital work across 26 countries in Africa, Asia and the Pacific region.  WaterAid and its partners use practical solutions to provide safe water, effective sanitation and hygiene education to the world's poorest people, including people like Miseria (read her story, right).
