Lung Disease affects many people in many ways, struggling to breathe during daily activities is one of the most debilitating side effects of this condition. Active Living wish to support the Bristish Lung Foundation in raising the awareness and improving treatment and care for those living with this condition.

Today I would like to share my story with you in hopes that you will do the same and show your support by sponsoring Active Living.

I will compete in the Deva Diva's triathlon not because I am a super fit sports woman, but in memory of my Dad-Dennis McCann. My dad passed away on Christmas Eve after a 8 yr battle with a lung condition called Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease more commonly referred to as COPD. Breathing during daily activities became a constant uphill battle leading to lathargy, and even loss of conciousness from the slightest cough, the battle ended on christmas eve when his fight for breath lead to a fatal heart attack.

 It is the hardest thing in the world to watch a loved one suffer, on 30th June I and a group of friends will be competing in the Deva Diva's Triathlon to raise money for the Bristish Lung Foundation in hopes of improving treatment, care & support for those living with this condition.
