Story

Thanks for supporting us - Active Blu coaches,  swim squad and 315 members and staff are taking on a massive challenge.

Communities supporting communities affected by the floods 2015.

Coaches, Squad, staff and members - Who will win !!!

So we are getting in the water at 8am on Sat 19th Dec and seeing how far we can swim in 12 hours. We know this is going to be hard but we appreciate this is what the people that have been effected by the floods have been through.

We are swimming to support and raise funds for everyone that has suffered in the 2015 floods. Our squad is based in Lancashire and Cumbria and have all been effected in some way - We want to support those that have showed courage in a diverse challenging time.

This challenge has a twist - We have 4 lanes.

Lane 1 - Active Blu Squad team together and members try and beat the coaches and other teams distance over the 12 hours. But mostly have lots of fun along the way....

Lane 2 -Coaches Emma and Tom tag team the 12 hours and swim continuously - They do this as they know how hard this challenge will be - But have invited a whole swimming community to get together and show support to those effected by the floods.

Lane 3 - 315 Health Club Staff Team  - Glen, KJ and Ceri - Glen lives in Kendal and unfortunately his house ended up under water. So Glen will be giving it beans to support others in his position. They will be mixing it up and taking on the 12 hour challenge between them - GO TEAM!!

Lane 4 - 315 Health Club Staff and Members team. This is a lane for members and staff of the club to take on the challenge and see how far they can swim in 12 hours. Lets show how communities support communities.... Sign up now to be part of it.

THIS WILL NOT BE AN EASY CHALLENGE......

The question is can this be done!! Well I am not sure but lets try...

We start on the 19th Dec at 8am and finish at 8pm. This will be held at 315 Health club - Lancaster who has kindly donated the lanes we need at their amazing health club pool. http://www.3-1-5.co.uk
