Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page! 

I’m running the half marathon again this year to support the good work Children First Derby (CFD) does for vulnerable and disadvantaged children, young people, and families in the Derby area.  I am a Trustee of the charity, and ran for the first CFD team entry in 2017 where we collectively raised over £5000! 

There have been large cuts in the funding available for child services in recent years, with the charity sector left to pick up much of the resulting burden.  Thankfully, the world is full of good people like the volunteers at CFD, and those who help fund their work (like you)!  So, while I appreciate that many of you donate frequently to a variety of positive causes, any amount (however small) you are prepared to give will be very much appreciated.
