Story
I had the privilege of singing at the wedding of Rosie and Elliot. As many of you will know Rosie recently died from breast cancer.
I thought I had hung up my running shoes when I completed the Marathon in 1996. I have not run anything close to 10K since then but want to raise money in Rosie's memory for a cause that I know she supported.
Chai Cancer Care is celebrating its 25th year. They provide services for patients, their families and friends affected by a cancer diagnosis. These take place at their centres around the UK or even in patients homes.
The wide range of services for both individuals, families and groups are all funded by charitable donations.
We have all been touched by cancer either personally or through our family, friends or colleagues.
Please help me to make sure that the services provided by Chai not just remain but can be developed.
My wife, as many of you know, is a Consultant Breast Surgeon. A few of you will have heard her say patients regret not calling Chai sooner.
