The Yorkshire Three Peaks route is 24 miles (38.6km), and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent. The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, usually in this order, and in under 12 hours.
Story
The Three Peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside are among the best-known hills in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Every year thousands come to reach the top of at least one or to conquer all three in one go.
With spectacular scenery and fantastic walking opportunities, this is a great place to spend the day, soaking up the scenery.
