London Marathon 2022 · 2 October 2022 ·

Smile Train is the world’s largest cleft charity, sponsoring 2M+ cleft surgeries since 1999. Our success owes to our sustainable model of training, funding, and equipping local medical teams to provide comprehensive cleft care that’s always there for their neighbours in need.

Story

This fundraising/challenge is furthermore to our ongoing support for The Smile Train. Myself and Olivia participated in the national three peak challenge early June where we managed to raise £2300. It was a unexpected amount and we really thank those who donated towards it. We are now looking forward to the London Marathon 2022 where we intend to raise yet more money for Smile Train, who do so much work with those effected by Cleft Palate. It is a charity that really resonates with myself and Olivia and we really look forward to the next 16 weeks preparing for the big day.

I will put our original story below so you are aware of why we are doing this

Our main aim is to raise money for the Smile Train Charity and all the incredible work that they do. I (Olivia) had cleft palate from a young age and Adam’s brother-in-law also had the same condition so it’s a charity that is close to our collective hearts.

We’ve got a long training programme up ahead and hopefully we’ll both make it to the finish line! Any donation that you can make, big or small would make such a difference and we’ll be sure to document our journey along the way.
