Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for 1000heartsforharry.

I’ve been lucky enough to get a place to run this years’ London Marathon on 23rd April and I’m very honoured to be running for 1000heartsfor harry, a charity set-up by my good friend and colleague Debbie Dubois and family. 12 young people in this country die every week from undetected heart conditions and 1000 Hearts for Harry raises funds for young people to have their hearts tested at screenings across the country.

Debbie sadly lost her son Harry to an undetected heart condition 3 years ago whilst we were working on the Marathon together, and since then it’s been a huge ambition of mine to run the Marathon for Harry, Debbie and family to raise funds and awareness for 1000heartsforharry and the incredible work they do.

All donations, however big or small, will be greatly appreciated and if you’re able to like/share/raise awareness for 1000heartsforharry as well, that would be fantastic.
