Mow Cop KILLER Mile · 28 April 2011

Caudwell Children transforms the lives of disabled children across the UK. We act as a safety net for families who are unable to gain the help they need. We provide family support services, equipment, treatment and therapies for disabled children and their families across the UK.

Story

I’m braving the Mow Cop KILLER Mile on Thursday 28th April to raise funds for Caudwell Children’s charity.

The short but brutal mile is a race up one of the steepest hills in the county up to Mow Cop castle! The KILLER bit is the ¾ mile point which has a 25% gradient!

Caudwell Children provides specialist equipment, life saving treatment and therapies for sick and disabled children. The charity also runs an annual Destination Dreams holiday to Florida for children facing life-limiting illnesses, so that they can create special memories with their families away from the endless hospital appointments.

The founder of the charity covers the administration and running costs, so every pound goes directly to where it is needed most, the children.

Please sponsor me for tackling this killer challenge to help change a child’s life!
