Story

Inspired by the efforts of close friends, to physically challenge themselves in raising money for a cause that is close to their hearts, I feel inclined to join the team and raise money for a charity that helped Neil and his family through a very tough time in their lives. With a fighting spirit and strong support, Neil's wife overcame bowel cancer two years ago, but many are not as fortunate.

Bowel Cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death, with more than 100 people diagnosed every day, and over 50% of new cases being preventable.

These facts provide plenty of impetus to get involved, so I am taking part in an intimidating 100 mile bike ride through London and Surrey on August 2nd. Im aiming to raise £750 for Beating Bowel Cancer Charity in the hope that they can continue to support families like Neil's.
