Those who know me, will know I can't run for a bus let alone run a marathon..... I am not able to swim....... and my legs definitely wouldn't take me to the top of a mountain and back so any physical fundraising challenge is out of the question. However I would still like to do something to raise money for the Alzheimers Society charity in memory of my special mum who suffered so much because of this awful illness. So, for one month (1st May to 1st June 2016), I am going to be giving up all things sweet and delicious - from ice creams and desserts, to chocolate, sweets, cakes and biscuits. Basically anything yummy and in my day-to-day 'diet'. This is going to be tough and for me, WILL be as difficult as running that marathon or climbing that mountain.

I promise there will be no cheating or secret snacking as it means a lot to me to do this right and raise those much needed funds for the Alzheimers Society.

(I apologise to my husband in advance - I may be slightly grumpy during the month of May!)

I have put a fundraising total of £100 but obviously the more we can get, the better. Thank you in advance for any donations - I know it would mean a lot to my mum as well. She was truly the best and I will love and miss her forever.
