Please help us raise £1000 to help beat macular disease.
Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is the most common cause of sight loss in the UK. Many people with macular degeneration cannot read, drive or recognise faces. Young adults and children can also be affected by inherited macular conditions.
It is cruel and isolating. It steals your sight, your confidence and the ability to do the things you love.
The number of people with macular disease is set to double in the next
20 years. The extent of this problem is huge and there will be far more people with macular disease than with dementia.
If you would like more information about macular degeneration please visit https://www.macularsociety.org/
The Macular Society is a national charity for anyone affected by central vision loss. They provide free information and support to improve lives today. They fund research so that one day they can overcome macular disease. All services are free to those with macular conditions, their family and friends. For more information call 0300 3030 111 or email help@macularsociety.org
