Adem Esen is raising money for Cancer Research UK
Story
Hi, my name is Adem Esen and thank you for visiting my just giving page.
I will be swapping my solicitor-advocates wig and gown for a pair of 16 ounce boxing gloves in a charity boxing match taking place on 17 June 2017 in support of Cancer Research UK.
Some may call me stupid for entering into a fight and doing something that could be dangerous but the real fighters are those who have to go through this terrible hardship and still manage to remain strong.
Recently one of my close family members, Meliz Halil was diagnosed with stage 2 Cancer. Although faced with this, she has exhibited a strength and resilience that is inspiring. I dedicate this fight to her and to all the other courageous individuals who have fought or are currently fighting against cancer.
I have chosen Cancer Research UK as the charity I would like to raise money for as I am committed to helping them fight this horrible disease, to find better treatments and to hopefully, one day, find a cure.
The fight will take place at the Troxy-London located at 490 Commercial Rd, London, E1 0HX on Saturday 17 June 2017 and will be held as a black tie event. You can find further information about the event particulars and ticket options using the following link:
